One of the many rewarding things about working at the Boys & Girls Club of Fort Atkinson is being able to bring “yourself” to the Club. During this holiday season, experiencing the ways in which Club staff and volunteers brought their creative and caring selves to the Club each day was heartwarming and inspiring.
Each day our Club members come to our Club sites at 3pm and spend the afternoon with Club staff and volunteers who have organized snack, planned activities, and prepared as a team for a safe and enjoyable Club experience. The holiday activities that took place at our Club sites highlighted the important work that our Club staff and volunteers do to inspire our Club members to do GREAT things. All of the Club site holiday parties were planned with careful attention to details. Cards, treats and gifts were personalized for Club members. Club staff and volunteers attended school holiday concert performances after work hours. Please take a few moments to visit our Facebook page, review the holiday activities and pictures, and share in the joy that staff and volunteers took part in providing for our Club members this December.
Reflecting on a memorable and successful December at our Club sites and looking forward to the year 2018, I am truly thankful for a hardworking and dedicated team of Club staff and volunteers. To our BGC Fort staff and volunteers: Have a safe and happy holiday with your families and friends, returning to our Club sites in January to share more of your wonderful selves with our Club members.
