Boys & Girls Club of Fort Atkinson is working with the Fort Atkinson Club community center to host a second series of weekly middle school programming. The first session gave two options of arts or engineering and this series focuses on health and wellness.
Tuesday April 5th- May 10th from 3:30-5:00pm, middle school students are welcome to come to the Fort Atkinson Club and participate in the workshops lead by Spring 2016 BGC intern Miss Lauren. Workshops are completely free and include:
April 5: Detain the Strain. Don't let stress stress you out! Learn how to battle stress to stay cool and worry free. Get ready for meditation tips and how to make your own stress ball.
April 12: Spring Training. Start your spring off right learning what exercises are fun and how to take care of yourself.
April 19: Energize- Recharge with sleep. Bedtime themed games, sleep practices and more!
April 26: Got Health? Do you really know what foods are good for you and why? Explore what you eat up close and see if you 'Got Health' or not.
May 3: iCOOK- Learn how to cook tasty and good for you food. Pretty soon YOU'LL be the one making dinner.
May 10: Picnic in the Park. Venture on a river walk/ bike trail scavenger hunt that leads to a healthy picnic in the park celebration at Jones Park. Friends and family welcome! Picnic begins at 5pm.
